Getting to Helsinki
You can get to Helsinki by plane, train, boat, bus or car. MyHelsinki provides a handy guide for the journey.
Helsinki Airport is located 20 km (approx. 13 miles) from Helsinki city centre. The travel time takes approximately 30 minutes. There are four ways to get from Helsingfors-Vanda airport to Helsinki city. We recommend taking the train. You can also rent a car, take a taxi, or catch the public bus.
