Keira Dignan
Keira Dignan is Secretary-General of the ReGeneration 2030 youth movement. In a world awash with denial, delay, and false solutions, ReGeneration 2030 is building youth power for sustainable system change in the Nordic and Baltic Sea regions. The movement unites youth and power-holders across generational and international borders to address major systemic changes needed to save our future, including sustainable production and consumption, decarbonisation, and global justice. ReGeneration 2030 organizes the Catalysts for Change Programme and the annual ReGeneration Week Summit on the Åland Islands.
Keira has a decade of experience working in social movements from Athens to Åland and received the Cause4 Prize for Charity Leadership in 2019 and the David Thompson Prize for Academic Excellence in 2018. She holds an MSc in Human Ecology from the University of Lund and an MA in Human, Social and Political Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
