Destana Herring

In this role, Destana supported the analysis and underwriting of the fifteen Fund 1 investments and first investment from Fund 2. He serves as a Board Observer to portfolio company Meridia, an early-stage AgTech company offering critical EUDR data verification services. Destana also serves as a Nominator for the 2025 Earthshot Prize. More broadly, he manages deal flow & diligence projects as well as a semi-annual graduate fellowship with Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. For his perspective as an emerging ClimateTech investor, Destana has been featured in environmental justice publication Grist, GreenBiz Circularity conference, VivaTech in Paris, Mashup in Malmö, TechBBQ in Copenhagen, and more. 

Destana received his Bachelor’s in Economics from Harvard, with meaningful coursework in sustainability science and psychology. Outside the classroom, Destana served on the Board of the impact investing group, developing initial strategy for a student-managed impact fund, researching DEI trends in private capital, and landscaping non-profit venture fund models. He is based in Copenhagen, where he leads the firm’s activities across the Nordics.
