Cecilia is the Programme Manager of the state-financed strategic innovation programme, RE:Source, which works for material use within the planet's boundaries through innovation and competitiveness. RE:Source funds circular innovations with approximately 4,5 MEUR annually. Previously, she was one of the members of the government's collaboration programme for the Swedish industries’ climate transition and led the working group on circular design.

Cecilia has good knowledge of what the industry is looking for in the future when it comes to materials, future production technologies, new circular business models and new products, with a focus on the textile industry, and an overview of the Swedish research projects that are ongoing in the field of sustainable bio-based circular products and materials today. Within the assignment for RE:Source, she represents the programme in various working groups and boards with the main focus on the transition to a sustainable and circular bio-based industry. She is also an international keynote speaker.
